What you'll learn

Work on your texturing techniques in Quixel SUITE 2 while creating a high-quality animated weapon. Throughout this course, Texturing a Stylized Weapon in Quixel SUITE 2, you will learn how to texture a stylized weapon. First, you'll use 3ds Max and ZBrush to create a low-poly mesh. Next, you'll work with xNormal to bake the detail and clean up the baked maps. Finally, in Quixel SUITE 2, you'll create different textures for the weapon, including fabric, metal, and wood, finishing with a polished render of a weapon. By the end of this tutorial, you will not only have a high-quality render of a weapon, but you'll also have a better understanding of how to effectively and quickly texture your future projects in Quixel SUITE 2.
