What you'll learn

Throughout the duration of this tutorial we will explore finishing techniques for our sculptures, starting from the wrinkle stages all the way up to pores and skin bumps. After that stage has been completed we will transition into look development and start working with polypainting and rendering workflows within KeyShot. By the end of this training you should have every tool you need to add massive amounts of detail to your sculpts in a realistic manner. Software required: ZBrush 4R6, KeyShot 4, Photoshop CS6.

About the author

Lee Magalhães graduated from the Istituto Europeu di Design (IED) in São Paulo with a bachelor’s degree in Digital & Virtual Design. He is currently a freelance 3D artist and has worked on a variety of projects in the industry, from basemesh models for Mudbox releases to high quality models for movies and games. He focuses on character art, anatomy, and digital sculpting.
