What you'll learn

In this series of lessons, we'll learn to create our plans and models with precision by utilizing reference and work planes in Revit. We'll start by gaining an understanding of how to set and adjust work planes. From there, we'll learn to use reference planes as guidelines to lay out our building form in plan view. Once our form is in place, we'll learn to place other elements like columns and windows into our project with the confidence and precision needed to get the job done right. Software required: Revit 2014.
