Compositing Decay into Architectural Footage in After Effects

In this tutorial, we will learn to cause decay in a VFX shot using hand-held footage. Software required: CINEMA 4D 14, Photoshop CS6, and After Effects.

What you'll learn

In this tutorial, we will learn to cause decay in a VFX shot using hand-held footage. We will replace everything in the shot besides the structure itself by painting in damage and debris, motion-tracking our elements, and using cloth dynamics to enhance our shot. After going through this tutorial, you will be able to take many kinds of exterior shots and add realistic damage to them in post. Software required: CINEMA 4D 14, Photoshop CS6, and After Effects.
