What you'll learn

CINEMA 4D is a great tool for working in 3D and has a wide range of features. The new release improves on many of those features and adds some new wrinkles. We'll start out by learning about the new variation shader and how we can use it to quickly create surface or color variation across a large number of objects. We'll also learn about some of the new spline tools and using the color chooser to pick different kinds of color schemes as we're working. We'll also learn about a one button solution to temporarily replace all or some of your scene materials with a single material for creating clay renders. We'll cover some new spline mask functionality and learn about some new sculpting features. We'll finish up by talking about the new Takes system and how it can enable us to really quickly create different variations of our projects. Software required: CINEMA 4D R17.
