In this series of tutorials, we'll learn foundational concepts for becoming a character setup artist in CINEMA 4D. We'll start by learning how to create a skeleton that will articulate any way we could imagine. We'll then bind our model and learn skinning techniques that can help us save a lot of time as we refine our deformations. To finish the training, we'll learn how to design an animator-friendly control system that is robust and efficient. By the end, you'll have the knowledge you need to build animation-ready control rigs of your own. Software required: CINEMA 4D R15.
