    Bevel on a polysurface

    Hi there,

I'm trying to add a bevel on a polysurface geometry that I generated from 2 polygons and a boolean (difference) operation. What is a polysurface? Why it cannot be beveled? I tried converting to polygons with no luck. Thanks for your help.

Hi Olivier1! I'm a little confused by your question. You mentioned that you are using two polygons that you've done a Boolean on, but then you tried to convert the two polygons to a polygon? Aren't they already polygons? If you can give some more insight, we might be able to help more.

With that said, keep in mind that both NURBS and polygons have bevel and Booleans, so if you are using polygons then you'll want to make sure you use Booleans under the Mesh menu, like this: http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?vid=7406. Likewise you'll need to use the bevel command under the Edit Mesh menu, like this: http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?vid=6833
