Hello, im new to Mari and ive been following the tutorials, but when it comes to archive my file, i save and close the current project. the project should show in the Mari's projects on, but it doesnt. i dont understand where it goes.

Can anyone help me please???.

Hello Aluevr, welcome to the forums.

To answer your question, yes, when you save and close a project you are working on in MARI it should appear as a thumbnail in your projects tab. This is different than archiving a project though. To archive a project means that you are consolidating all things related to the project into one file so that they can be used by another artist or opened in another copy of MARI. To archive a project, you simply right click on the thumbnail in the projects tab and choose archive.

The project doesn't apper in the project tab, it never make the thumbnail.

Hmm, that is very odd. Are you creating a new project from scratch or trying to open an archive? Also, which version of MARI are you using?

Im using Mari 1.2v1 and yes ive been creating a new project from scratch, but it doesn't create a thumbnail for the project. ;-(

Hi Aluevr, I'm not completely sure what is going on with your copy of MARI. It very well could be something that has to do with the version. That version is pretty old considering the most recent is 1.4v3. The earliest version I have installed on my machine is 1.2v2 and it seems to be creating projects in my projects tab just fine.

Are you still on maintenance with The Foundry? Would it be possible to upgrade to the most recent version?
