Good Day DT People, I have a problem when I convert an object from polygon to Subdiv. The object is not shaded but the other is shaded. How to back it to normal? what would I click or do? thanks in advance
there is a tool available to show normal direction they should all point out . if one dose not point out reverse the normal on that face only . Don't try to reverse all normals .
It isnīt necessarily that the normals are reversed. Sometimes Maya just removes the assigned material.
So if you assign your material on the mesh again it should be fine - but you can always check your normals too.
