What Spec are Digital Tutors using?

Hi Digital Tutors

Having watched a clip from Transforming Robot Production Pipeline Volume 9: Lighting and Rendering, I would like to know what Specs are Digital Tutors using for rendering this scene? As it was mentioned that you are using a high spec 64bit system/machine and I would like to know what are you using. Hope you can tell us and give us an idea of the kind of power need to render such a scene thanks.

We use 64-bit Alienware Aurora systems. They have quad-core Intel Core i7 processors @ 2.8GHz and 12GB of RAM.

they have a few different gpus available in alien-ware depending how much you pay . I find most of there laptops over priced for that hardware in them and there not as fast as some cheaper options .

Most of our systems use NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 GPUs
