Right, this might seem like an obvious question and answer, however, i'm at a loss.
Adding a simple grow animation to a SWF in indesign, i find that the initial state of the animation shows when using "animate to current state or position" on page load before the animation starts. I have setup the animation to hide until animated, but with no effect.
Changing my workflow to setup an empty page that animates to the final position and therefore using the "animate from current state / position" seems to work fine When objects move in or out of the page. But Create a problem when using an AI / EPS the grows up to 2000 %. As the image is rendered at it's initial state of app. 5% and the enlarged. I have been able to work around this by dragging in an illustrator vector directly from indesign.
This seems to work with no problems. until i look carefully at the "enlarged" image after the slide is loaded and can see quite a few irregularities in the vectors. Probably a result of the transformation.
So to get back to my question. Is here a workaround to setup a "animate to current state / position" without showing the final state in the initial page load? I hoped Hide until animated would solve this. But no such luck!
Re: on page load animation appear before animation
Problem solved. It appears to be a problem using Page transitions in combination with the "animate to current state" Turning off page transitions solves the problem.
If anyone know how to sort this with page transitions, it would be greatly appreciated!
