In Maya you can align points/vertices in a given axis by turning snap on and disabling the 'retain component spacing' option. Then when you move your selected points they all snap to the grid and become aligned. How can I achieve the same thing in C4D?
You can press "p" for snap menu. There, you should be able to find 2D snapping, 3D snapping, grid snapping, 2.5D snapping, point snapping, edge snapping, etc.
