Thread: IPAD

    Re: IPAD

It works and looks great! So is the intention to use this player for future courses? Will older courses be moved to this system?

We're still evaluating different options, but as we move forward we will be having future courses be universal playback and will be moving older courses to this.

    So, yes.

That's a long time to wait to be able to access tutorials on the go again. As it works now what else is needed to start using this now?

Organizing, re-rendering, re-compressing, re-uploading tens of thousands of videos. Nothing too big

@chrisg. Sorry for being so demanding. But I love you guys' tutorials too much. And it pains not to have time to access them outside of home computers.

No, I should apologize for the sarcastic reply. I'm really excited to get all our videos updated too! It's tough not having a concrete release date for our entire library. We are still working out a few connections in the system and then we'll be uploading and updating our courses as we get them done. When everything is ready to start uploading in full swing I'll probably start a request thread to get important courses online first.

We know you guys are doing all you can.

That said, oh my lords, if the new Intro to Maya 2013 were accessable from the web on an iPad, I would freak right out! Right out of town!

    Thanks for the updates.

I would have responded with thanks sooner, but I was too busy losing control of my faculties.

Seriously, though, this is excellent. Thanks a lot for your efforts, Chris, and who ever else is working on these conversions. Keep up the excellent work.

Any chance more videos will be converted to play on the browser through the iPad?.........
