    Photoshop and wacom tablet

    Hello:

I've had autodesk 3ds max for 5 years now,

But am new to other programs such as photoshop which I've only had for a month now but have had a lot of success learning to use it through DT.

Now I've just bought a wacom sensitive tablet yesterday and am in the process of learning that also.
And I got a problem with it.

I loaded it on my computer and it runs find and dandy until I restart my computer then I have to re-install the driver.
Is this because my computer only has 4 USB ports?
2 ports are in the rear of the computer which I use for my keyboard and mouse.

There are 2 USB in the front and I believe these are temporary, which is where I've install the driver for the tablet.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't figure out why after restarting my computer I have to install the driver all over again.

Is there a solution to fix this? Or is it something I'm doing wrong myself?

One silly question: Did you install the Wacom software that came with your tablet?
Normally there should be no problems after the wacom tablet software is installed..

Yes that's the problem I've installed the software and the tablet works great until I restart my computer then I have to install the software all over again. That's why I'm here scratching my head over this. I restart my computer once or twice daily and I don't want to keep having to install the software over and over again. Thats why I'm seeking some input into why it does this.

    Problem solved.

Seems the driver needed updated and works fine now. Odd being I only had it one day and had to use an updated driver. Thxs.

That isn't unusual. By the time the wacoms reach the stores they are probably made a few months, so the supplied driver will be out of date once we find the bugs.
