    how to efficiently model logos from illustrator to Maya

    Hello DT! how its going?
    i know, it looks like a silly thread
    but, im having issues doing it in Maya
    how to export illustrator to Maya?
    which illustrator version file?
    this is simple, but yet very useful in the today market
    transforming 2D logos, in 3D
    can really make works to have extra attention
    well that's all

    Hi Sazarret,
    Save As>Illustrator EPS.
    Then in the options, select Illustrator 8 as the version, and deselect every option.

    Hi Sazarret! Actually, Maya has a built-in feature that allows you to import an Adobe Illustrator file (.ai). Here's a look at how you can do that.

    wow Dan! you simply took off 100 pounds off my shoulders
    everytime i had to enter Cinema, export to FBX and that was a waste of time!
    now i can do everything on a single 3D program thanks to you
    well that's all, and congratulations for all the excellent videos you made.
