where is the surface sampler hiden in the maya 8 manue?

hi.. i am not able to see a surface sampler (fr normal mapping) in maya 8,,
maya 7 has "surface sampler" in modify manue.. but in maya 8 this is not there who knows where this surface sampler is hidding in maya 8's manues .. plz do tell me
little things are weired when they are badly required..

I did a quick search in Maya help, and Surface Sampler has been renamed to Transfer Maps, and it is under the Rendering tab, under lighting/shading menu bar > Transfer Maps..
