    Training Question

I took the Line Tool / Lasso training and I had one question the instructor has these letters D and T. As these letters are in a box state to demonstrate the line tool I believe - the letters have dots mapped out. How do you plot the dots on these letters before applying the line tool? Thank you Shawn

    Re: Training Question

Hello tonylawrence! The dots are actually temporary objects that are utilized so that our line tool has something to snap to. Here's a quick video on how you can set that up! Hope it helps!

Here's a link to the Introduction to Flash 8 course that was referenced in the video.

    Re: Training Question

Hello Dan I know it has been a while since I was brushing up on my Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash. I have a Bachelors in Visual Communications and I have went back to the beginning to study up on my original interest which was animation. I have spent the last 4 to 5 months book studying what my degree didn't cover. I have tried to reach out for apprenticeships or oppurtunities that would give me industry experience but have not gotten any replies (some of these reach outs include Pixar and Disney). I have worked at US Cellular for 11 years and at the age of 32 I realize time is of the essence especially for experience purposes. Are their team projects or online projects that can help start me off with getting that industry experience? I have studied The Animation Book by Kit Laybourne and now am I have focusing on my drawing skills. Along the way I have set my focus on script writing and freelance with video exercises that include some lessons in Stop Motion Animation. My goal is by the end of the year working with Maya and begin working in 3-D in both character development and backgrounds. I really hope you can give a few suggestions based on your experience in the field. Thank you for any information that you can take the time to suggest. Shawn
