Community Project: Final topic

After the initial brainstorming session, there were three ideas that had multiple votes:
1) Fishing for a ginormous sea monster - 19 points
2) Alien can opening dillema - 11 points
3) The Evil Scientist - 1 point

It looks like the topic "Fishing for a ginormous sea monster" is the winner by a reasonable margin. I will post a few new threads shortly for the next steps. Stay tuned and refer back to the README thread from time to time.

If there are no objections, why don't we make each person's first vote worth 3 points, and the second choice worth 1 point (sorta like the world cup). Final tally will decide the project topic. I'll update the points every once in a while (math will be re-checked at the end).

Should we say Thursday evening deadline? Hopefully that'll give everyone enough time to cast a vote.

Yep, it looks that way. I'll post some new threads pretty soon, but you can start imagining this scene in your head, maybe planning some sketches.
