Hey guys,
I was wondering if there is a way to key frame particles so they will emit when i want them too.

Yes it's very possible. Just key the emitter rate from zero (no emission) to your desired particle rate. :)

I just tried that, but i find there is a little delay on when the particle goes off.

scratch that, i got it working right, just went into the
graph editor and tuned it

I was also wondering is there a way to make a UI that would have 1 button and when i press that button it would shoot out a particle :)
that would probably be too advance for me right now, but i was just wondering

It can be done by employing some MEL scripts.

The MEL kit will definetly help you out with that. It will go over how to create a UI window and add buttons. You should look into that.

Ya i made one that will let me set the rate and add a key, now i have to try and make it so i just have ot press one button :) to do all of that

Hi Folks, **** i am so stoned, i merely forgot about my subject while the registration process.
Whatsoever, i need some particel-positions to be keyframed and i dunno how how how to do that.
