I want to make a renderman scene with GI, but I don want the “ENV Light” dome. I want a scene with only a spot light pointing down in the middle of the white room, and the walls illuminated by the light bouncing on the floor.

Obviously I activated the “Ray tracing”, but just when I rendered it. I got the white circle on the floor and all the walls in the room are completely black.

How can I make global illumination whit a light that is not the “ENV Light” ?

Sorry for my bad English

Thanks

Hi wari. You need the renderman env light. But you can turn off its lighting by setting the intensity to 0. Does this answer your question?

If I use the “ENV light” with 0 intensity, I get the same result.
I read somewhere that I have to add a “Pass”, but I don’t know what to add and how to do it.

Thanks for the help..
