Text to Liquid effect

Can you make a text then turn it to a liquid-y effect? My scene is i have a text then will form to some kind of a cream..I tried doing it in real flow but its to tedious.I don't have all day hehe..so im gonna do it in AE.Any suggestions? Thanks! :)

Make the text a particle goal - run and render the sim, and play it backwards
