Hi there..
i'm trying to make a simple grid for my car..
i want a grid like this one (http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/6336/grid4ue.jpg) but i have no idea to do that..
somebody can help me ?

You could try making it by using a bump or displacement texture as opposed to modeling it out

You could also just make a cube then scale it up so that it is the right length and rotate it slightly. Then Go to the duplicate option and tell it to make lots of copies (50) and set the translate to a small number, that way you will have many sections going in one direction. Duplicate one of them once more (only one copy) then select all of them except the duplicated one and choose polygon->combine. With the last one you just duplicated rotate in the oposite direction and do the multiple duplicate again (50 copies) select these new ones and combine. Then select both object and choose polgons->bolleans->unite.
Experiment with different variations to get what you want, but that probably the most effective way model the object.

I have exactly what i want with your solution..
Bump and displacements were not very nice.. but now my grid has a pretty look
