View Full Version : Creating Oceans - Anti-aliasing??

i am trying to create a realistic ocean with barely ripples in the water. a calm sea if you will. its a basic ocean shader with some things that i tweaked like wave height and such but look where i have circled in my attachment.. is this an anti-aliasing problem? what should i do to eliminate this??

The far away waves tend to look like noise. One way to get around it is to map a texture's alpha into the wave Num Frequencies that weakens the wave frequency as they recede to the outer edges of the NURBS ocean.
