I was wondering if DT has any any tutorials on making landscapes....like how to setup sunlight and everything...

Not at this point, but the Mental Ray has some good tutorial on how to setup lights. The other thing I would suggest is to take a photo of a landscape and create...let's say one of the rocks that are in the photo. Place it with in the photo of the landscape(in photoshop or Maya's background), and compare it to the photo's rock with your 3D rendered rock. You would have to play with the lights a bit but that is the whole idea...experimenting with different attributes to get that perfect result.

I f u want it easy u could use Bryce and create some wonderfull land pieces and then import them. Their are other DT kits that have covered lighting, so maybe look over them and see if one fits your needs.

I would love it much too! I would not say thats its the only thing i need now.. But the only standard thing i need and the i can develop my skill all over :)
We have it in our list of new titles for 06.
