Where to find "Select continious edge"-tool

Hallo,

I just watched a tutorial and there the mentor is using a tool to select all continious edges.
Where can this be found? I am using Maya 7 and only found the "border edge" and "ring edge" tools, but not the continious edge thing.

Are you referring to Contiguous Edges? You should find it under Edit Polygons -> Selection -> Select Contiguous Edges

They took it out of the control + right click marking menu but you can make your own shortcut and set it up that way.

Actually I have a question, does anyone know if the continuous edge tool is still in Maya 7. They have the edge loop tool but I find that it dosen't work as well in some cases.

hey guys ive had this problem also.and after reading papa's reply i am wondering if theres a way to add things to the right click menu or put it back where its was in earlier versions im running 7 and seems to run so much smoother than 6 very suprising how much,but noticeing that things are geting moved around and trusting the tutors so much even at this early stage i would like to make my preferences as close to the cd's as i can to increase my learning curve unstead of constently wondering why my button pushing is faulty.. i think you see where im going with this...how to add function to my right click menu? if even possible
