first of all greetings to all and second to congratulate to digitalis tutors by its wonderful work, animating to follow with those wonderful tutorials in line.
Good I begin with my doubts with respect to xsi with a few questions...
somebody would know if in xsi a tool equivalent to the one of cross-sectional section exists that has max?, and if it does not exist as they are possible to be welded to vertices in different curves ?, and to draw up to line connecting a point to another one? or as a frame of splines in xsi can be created?
sorry by my english
greetings

I think if you're looking for Max's Cross-section modifier in XSI, you want to Loft your curves. You can go to Create -> Surface Mesh or Poly Mesh with your curves selected and Loft them to create a shape that can be altered by the curves. Lofting in Max is XSI's Extrusion along a curve.

hello, LaLiLuLeLo,
I know the tool loft but I need to go far but and to create surfaces with a volume and soon to close them, for that reason it said the one to weld points and to create they edges. In max I can create line of vertex in vertex and be making a mesh but complex, loft allows me to create a surface between two curves, until there correct, but I will put example to you... a spoon has the surface of above the one of down that is equal and another one the thickness uniting both, in that point is where I follow without finding the form to connect both surfaces then does not exist the option to weld the points of the two surfaces, not if I explain myself
