Good afternoon all,
I'm beginning to work on a project that will require me viewing how textures are tiled in the viewport on a regular basis. I've encountered an issue where after I tile a texture, when I create a new object, the textures reset to stretching the texture over the object. While the texture renders out in the render region correctly, I can't get the tiling to remain visible in the user view. This is going to be a huge issue for an upcoming project.
I've set up a YouTube video showing the issue and the steps I took to try to fix it, including some listed on this site in a previous post in the General section.

I'd love to hear any ideas DT users have about this. I hope I'm missing something very obvious, but I've come to the end of my ideas about this.

p.s. I'm running off of XSI 6.02, Windows XP Pro (SP2), latest Nvidiea drivers for FX 5900 (not a quadro).
