hey @all
I'm using maya and cinema 4d.
For some things, cinema 4d its alot easier to handle BUT there are really ordinary things I'm missing or I just can't find them.
In Maya its easy to PIN two vertexes from diffrent objects together. Thats pretty useful for pinning cloth to an static object (for flags which are moving in the wind etc.)
I'm trying to model a spiderweb in cinema 4D which is moving in the wind (via cloth tag).
Is there any possibility to connect some border vertexes to an other (static) object so its not flying away?
Sew the vertexes is not working...they move together but the web is still flying away.
Of course there is probably a method to avoid that the web flys away via the cloth tag, but it would be nice to know the other method :-)
The constrains seems to be only accessible for "character objects"
I do not have any knowledge in xpresso :-/
greets from germany
john
EDIT:
ok...belt object... that was to easy! SORRY!
But if anyone has the same question, here is the solution:
