I'm just starting out with XSI and I got Intro to XSI 2nd ed. to learn with. Everything seemed to be going along fine until a couple of days ago when I opened my scene and found my front fender all messed up. You can see it in the attached "First fender.jpg"
This was the morning after I modeled the back harness, so I thought maybe I accidentally selected points and edges from the fender while I was modeling the harness and messed it up myself. So I deleted the fender object from the scene, and started over on modeling it.
I spent a lot of time on this last night and made sure I had it right and looked it over carefully before saving it. It was fine, so I saved it and went to bed. This morning I wake up and open my scene and the fender is all twisted up again (attached "New fender 1.jpg" and "New fender 2.jpg") . Sorry I don't have any shots of what it looked like before, but it looked fine.
