ice floating in water

Has anyone ever done anything like ice floating in a vat of water? My ice cubes keep sinking to halfway down the jug and sitting in the middle of the water. Anyone with any thoughts?

Use constreints. What do u want it to do, stay in one place etc..?

Nope, I want it to move around and slosh with the liquid. True ice wouldn't lock to one point on the surface, it would bob up and down and move all around.

I just got a reply from Next Limit telling me that Real Flow cannot do what I want it to do. Bummer.

First thing that comes to mind is: Do you have Maya unlimited? If the answer is yes than select Dynamics ---Fluid Effects ----ocean ---create ocean. After this is completed create a "Add dynamic Buoy". With the adjustment within this selection this should give you the out come you are looking for. this information is based on Maya 7.0. I'm not sure what it would be in Maya 8.0.

That's exactly what I'm looking for, except I need to it work with my real flow sim. Nice thought though.
