Hi everyone!
Reading at the RF4 documentation I've understood that using the .sd format to export a triangulate geometry from Maya to RF4 I can export also animation apply to that geometry, and not only at the pivot point, but also at the verteces.
I've created a simple polygon Sphere, triangulate, delete history, freeze transformation, and then I've applied a Lattice Deformer to it; finally I've made the Lattice a Soft Body and I've applied a turbolence field at the particles.
In this way the polygon sphere deforms in a fluid way, like an air ball.
But when I export it I can't see the animated deformation applied to it into RF4; I've tried also (using maya8) to cache the geometry and eliminate the lattice, but with no result.
Obviously into the sd export option I've checked "Export Deformation"
Can you help me?
thanks a lot.
