Hello,
I am trying to find a way to render the shadow seperately on an alpha channel.
Normally I would use the 'Use Background' shader to create shadow matte, but in the case of the Ocean Shader this is not possible as it will replace the shader which produces the waves in the first place (so there will be no ocean actually.. just a flat floor!)
I tried creating the nurbs preview plain and applying the use background shader to it, but the result was an extremely jagged and flickery shadow. I tried increasing the tesselation, but still it didn't seem to affect the rendered image.
Thank you
Mido
