Hello everyone!!!
I finally had a chance to break away from work long enough to look at some of the new DT training. I decided since I had been away for a while I needed a refresh before getting back into training full steam. I have worked on this mesh for a few hours this past week and I think it is ready to be UV’ed. I thought I would post a few pics of my progress and see if I can get some feedback from the community. As you can see I did deviate from the original model in the training videos and put my on little spin on it.

Let me know what you think…….. and please all comments are very welcome, I need to learn as much as I can.

Thanks! In advance

looking god, I like the whole style.
Only the wings, the fact that they are kind of bend doesnt fit in my opinion. (but thats a personal thing)

I thought I would upload some of the work in process photos. I have the UV’s completed and have started work on the textures. This is not the final textures as I am not happy with them completely. I am working on adding dirt and grime and seeing what I need to do to make it look old and used.
I may jump over to creating the environment and take a break from the plane for now

Wow that little jet is looking great with those textures.
Only one thing, since you seem to want an old kind of look, I would take away some of the glossyness for the hull shader. Make it more dim.

I thought i would post a pic to show some of the environment I have been working on and tweaking of the textures. This is using a 4k HDRI image and I am rendering out a 10k to see how it will work.
