View Full Version : slowing simulation down to a halt and "freeze"
Hi all,
Is there a -simple- way to have you're simulation slow down and stop.
Like a splash that slows down and "freezes" into a final shape??
I've been looking at the different available deamons, but still wondering about this.
cheers,
rob

Hi rork :) You should take a look at the speed daemon. When your simulation is at a good stopping point, set it to Limit and Keep and set the min and max speed to 0. This will freeze it. This technique is universal to both RF3 and RF4. In RF4, with scripting, other more intuitive techniques are available.

Hi sunder,
Iam Prakash from India.
Iam trying to do a animation sequence for a ship travelling in a stromy sea with the help of realflow.
Will you please help me in creating natural looking splashes and foams for this sequence.
-Prakash.
Hi Sunder,
I will have a look at the speed deamon. I have to say RF4 is wicked!! :-)
Thanks for the quick reply,
rob
