Hi,
I have a logo that I want to shatter.
I have successfully shattered it with the shatter effect.
I have added a vortex field.
The shattered pieces are wirling away across the screen...
After a certain number of frames they just stop moving. It's like someone pressed the stop button. I just know I didnt!
Please help.

sounds like the allocated timing/frames for the shatter is set too short. The shater stops but the "animation" keeps going?

And where might I find that setting?

It seemed that deleteing the prefs folder helped.
I had a fairly complex scene and changing the solver type to a faster one helped out alot too. And then baking it ofcourse.
The general feeling is that there are alot of bugs and improvements needed to stability here. I must have restarted maya like 30 times in the process before I reached an end result.

After spending years trying to create an incandescent light bulb, Thomas Edison told a colleague, "I have not failed; I have discovered 1,200 materials that don't work."
Thanks for sharing how you resolved the problem :)
