I'm using NukeX6.2v2, and have noticed several differences with the camera tracker node. One of them that I can't figure out is when I follow lesson #8 in the Camera Tracking in NukeX lesson, I can still see the features after I have plugged the roto paint node into the camera tracker mask port on the camera tracker node. I have made sure to set the "mask" option on the camera tracker node to Mask Alpha as in the video, but still the features don't disappear. Is there a different method in this version of NukeX or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Hi blp2,

I just experimented with this for a few minutes and it looks like the CameraTracker input port is very fussy about the alpha being put into it. Try connecting a constant node set at the correct dimensions into your RotoPaint node BG port. This fixed the problem for me. You may also need to click 'Delete Auto-tracks'.

Hey thanks Chris,
That kind of worked - at first. Then when it gets toward the end of the sequence the features show up again inside the mask. If I click "delete auto-tracks" I lose visibility of all trackers. Still not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Hi blp2,

That's kind of a tough one. Is your mask moving with the feature you want to remove? If a point gets created outside the mask, then enters the mask, NUKE will keep that point. You can always select points you want to remove and right click and go to tracks -> delete selected.

Yeah, my mask moves with the footage (I'm using the exercise files provided with the course, ie masking out the sky above the dump-truck on the street). As the mask floats above the truck, new trackers appear inside the mask. I have triple checked that I have everything set up exactly as in the tutorial. it just won't work, and if I have to hand delete every tracker in the sky it kind of defeats the purpose of the lesson.
