Well I already asked in the Maya Animation forum ( http://www.digitaltutors.com/chit_chat/showthread.php?t=2781 ) about my problem of animating a bullet with those gas rings behind it , as seen in the Matrix movies.
Well I did the DT tutorial of Realflow basics and there it showed how to animate both in Realflow. Everything works fine in Realflow, the bullet gets pushed by the gas particles behind it.
Now Im trying to export everything back to Maya for some rendering.
I managed to open those .bin files and import the "gas rings" mesh back to Maya.
The only trouble I got now is getting the bullet back in action.
How do I get all the animated information of the bullet from Reaflow to Maya?
I already tried to select the bullet in realflow and use the function "add a new mesh to the scene" in hope to create the .bin files of the bullet.
But that didnt seem to work.
Or did I do something wrong and the bullet information should have been stored together with the particle mesh in those .bin files ?

The animation of the bullet will be stored as an SD file in your project Objects folder; you will need to import it into Maya.

Oh wow thats quite easy , lol :D Well my problem was I didnt have the option .sd export switched on in the Plugin-manager and that was one reason why it didnt recognise the .sd file .
But thanks for your help Im very grateful :bow
Well back in action for some Matrix movie creation
