Problems merging

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me with this problem I'm having after using the merge command. I didn't use the blend option and deleted the inputs after merging. The blue line shows there's more that isn't connected underneath (it's an arm connecting to a hand at the wrist).

Hope I explain this clear enough for everyone to understand....

Created new geometry and everything is working fine now.
