Hi all!

After a long while, I've gotten to rig my '67 Impala. Now that I've gotten all of these fun features built-in, many from the "Rigging Cartoon Vehicles (http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?pid=3421)" series, and a bunch of custom ones, I am seriously psyched to start animating. Please take a look when you get a chance, and I'd love to hear any comments! Once again, outstanding material that you guys create for us to learn from. Well thought out and executed tutorials.

On a side note, I find that the CTM methodology (not to mention script...before knowing there was a script, I kept re-watching the lessons on creating it a node at a time, which was an excellent learning experience) can provide more reliable and flexible results than trying to constrain items using the point on poly feature. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Great rig.. Only thing missing would be a giant Horn on the top of the car!!! Blue's Brothers is just too cool!!

Very nice timeRemapper! This has some real potential to come out good, as you have figured out the shaders already and that rig looks real nice! I love the fact that when you move the car the wheels automatically turn...I look forward to seeing your short coming along.

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the feedback!

I know! A monolithic horn would have been a super-nice feature. And, I LOVE the Blues Brothers! :)

I have some plans for some sound fx involving horn sounds, but unfortunately, I have no visible horn, other than some planned horn-like animation of the rig. The model was inspired by the Impala used on the show "Supernatural", and I was trying to keep it somewhat similar, while cartoony and distorted.

Thanks again for your thoughts & time!
