okay here's a real MEL-noob I worked with Maya without really touching the lanugage. and now I need a script!

I import an .iges file. The model (from SolidWorks) is breaking down from a solid model to alot of NURBS surfaces....fine.... I could use renderman to smooth them all out so they will fit together as I want them to, but I dont have renderman. That means that I need to go in and set the tesselation on every single surface (and there can be hundreds) so I would like a script do to it for me.

A script that can set the tesselations divisions factor on all NURBS in my scene.

Can someone please help me... you will get a cake! (or even better rauw lol)

Does the tessellation need to be different for each object? When you go to the menu and change the tessellation quality it will do it for each object you have selected.
