Mental Ray [Maya - Softimage]

I am excited about the maya Infiltrator Production Pipeline series...however as I have softimage, I was wondering whether the very same maya mental ray shaders used in the tutorial are there for softimage users?

Hi Scarabrae,
Sure you could follow along in Softimage! Obviously everything isn't going to have the exact same name, but a majority of the techniques and concepts can be used in any 3d application. Here's a quick video to show some of the materials that were used and their equivalent materials in Softimage. Hope it helps!
