Smooth Proxy Options alt. for Maya 8

Hello everyone!

I'm working with Maya 8 - read some of what you guys have had to say about it. I must say that the most annoying thing about the latest edition of the software is how much they've changed things around. I have students who are trying to learn Maya using Digital Tutors CDs. While I'm happy with DT's presentation, it's frustrating when the instructor is clicking around and opening a window that doesn't even exisit in v.8.

Anyway, my question is this; does anyone know what the alternative is in Maya 8 for Smooth Proxy Options? Does it exist in Maya 8? What keystrokes do I need to take to get to it?

I havent checked myself because I dont use smooth proxy, but you should check the help docs as they clearly explain what changes were made in regards to tools, terminology, locations of old tools, etc. Shouldnt be something too hard to find.

I believe smooth proxy is now subdiv proxy under polygon->proxy. Ctrl +` is the shortcut.
