Hi there max users^^
maybe you got the email from dt aswell. I wanted to check out the free interior scene from evermotion.
But unfortunately its a .max format. - I have maya but no 3dsmax
So Im asking you if someone could grab that .max file and convert to an fbx for me?
If you didnt have that file yourself, here is mine:

it would be really nice of you :D

The problems going to be seeing them objects in max file and scene in black I have even deleted the lights and the camera's but it still renders in white and when I view the file it's completely black.i don't mind attaching the file but it is going to be worth your time?

I could make a better scene than this in about an hour and it won't be black and the scene will work correctly when imported.

Do you have the the image off evermotion of what it's meant to look like?

Also the file you attached is in centermeters. If you still want it then i can attach it there is no textures unless you have the textures. Also the scene is way too heavy for the amount of object with modeler has made

oh, well I have some images from evermotion of the final renders... looks nice.
But well, if you say that the objects are easy to make, im gonna try and model similar stuff by myself.
The textures were provided aswell - and they are rather nice, especially the wood textures.

But ok, i dont want to waste your time with that, thank you for the comment ;)

Hey Adeptus

I tried opening the "Evermotion" scene in as well. I have Max & Maya and still couldn't open. it actually crashed my Max everytime I tried. I think because Its in V-RAY which I don't have.. If you're able to get it viewed pls give a holla
Thanks

hi Freshman,
I have a thread open in the maya forums, where shamusoliver said that it is not possible to open a .max file in maya so far.
And since I dont own max I dont see any chance for me to do that by myself... ;)

Unfortunately, the .max file format can only be open in 3ds Max. If you read the info.txt in the file, it says that you need 3ds Max 9 or higher and V-Ray 1.5 SP1.
