What the name of material equivalent for example metal, rub, plastic shine or plastic unpolished, rub mat etc.
Maybe i have to mixe some material to have for example rub mat. Please some advise and maybe good material to learn and read about this. Thanks a lot all of you for any sugestion.

In Maya, Blinn is used for shiny surfaces while Lambert is for soft, non-reflective surfaces, like the rubber mat. You can also combine materials to get a specific kind of surface. Also, each of these materials has attributes that you can tweak to lower or strength its effect. I highly recommend checking out the Hypershade kit which goes over many techniques and tricks to creating awesome materials in Maya.
