Problems Linking Left and Right Thigh to Bn_SpA01

During the the "Setting up Center of Gravity control" lesson of Rigging for Production at the time 7:06 I ran into a problem. Apon linking my thighs to my Bn_SpA01 Bone (Lower Spine) I had a shift that caused my thigh bones to be offset and screwed up. Here are the images, before and after the link.
