what?
Of course the tutor did shows you how it was made If your a subscriber then you will have access to all the courses that DT has on it's site. justin walks you through all the steps if you followed along with the course then he'll shows you everything you need to know. if you jumps the parts then you miss out on key things Justin does
I would start with something simple if your a beginner to 3ds max

Don't just jump into the deep end. If you have not still having problem then i would open a support ticket

I already made my swiss army knife, just need to know how to make the cenario with the lights that he used...

Yes it does it's got over 30 lessons. are you using the site and opening the player and playing through there if so you will see the course's. Lesson 30 is adding the material If you open up the material editor by pressing M key this will open the material editor then you can assgn the material the color (colour) or bitmaps
what light are you talking about? there are there are over 8 standard lights and 10 Photometric Lights.
if you want to create a standard omni or any other light then go from the gemotry 2 to the right and click on the lights symbol. Create that in the top view and then click on the move tool to move it up in the front to where you want the light place

Hi RibeiroM4E,
I do not think we have a tutorial on the Swiss army knife render scene. To learn more about rendering and how to set-up your own scene, I would watch Introduction to Lighting in 3ds Max (http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?cid=111&pid=3562), then Introduction to mental ray in 3ds Max (http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?cid=111&pid=3553). After watching these two courses, you should be able to re-create the knife scene easily.
