move gizmo is locked/ at origin

Hi.
My move tool is locked at origin 0,0,0 x,y, z. I can see it clearly, I have tried the x toggle, thats no help. Even when I create an object it adds to the 0.0,0 x y z. I can rotate and resize but cannot move.

I also verified the space bar lock it is not at locked

have you added a service pack? If not to Go too http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=9241178 choose the verison you have and install it.

does the samething happen when you create another object? the max.ini mite of become corrputed I would delete it, If you have the full verison If not then you will lose your license the demo or if you have the student verson.

Try restarting max and to the samething if it happens again then i would contact your dealer and ask for some support because autodesk does not offer it
