Anyone using a Nvidia 7600 GT GPU??
What would yall recommend for a cheap nvida card?

You're wanting to run Maya on it? Then "cheap" isn't probably the word I'd use to describe a good card. :) Of course perhaps my definition of "cheap" isn't what yours is... if you want to run Maya well, you can check out their list of qualified cards on their website. I'd recommend at least a Quadro.

I use a 5700 256mb. Unless you're doing something really heavy on geometry , it works just fine. Things like particle simulation and rigid/soft bodies in the viewport are calculated with the CPU. If you need to do a lot of hardware rendering, then you will also need a good card. Otherwise, anything better than what I have will work just fine.
