Hi there forum
I'm X-softimage 3d user and learned maya after the 4months of hell I lived threw at Seneca College want to learn S3D. but learned all my basic about computer animations and modeling in nurbs in softimage and cps polygon user in maya... runing v8 & v8.5 and xsi 7... so any ways .. my question is whats the propper picking procedure in lofting fingers of circles to the palm of the hand circles already to deforemed cvs in the shape of a hand. For the life of me I cant remember and I lever learned the other method in maya for it was only taught to one student who wasnt willing to share the info and the teacher was no help.... but I was T.A for first termers.

After spending countless hours modeling hands as NURBS, I don't think I'll ever do it again. It's so much easier and better results I think if you model hands with polys. Build simply, then smooth the surface when done to get a nice smooth hand with great detail and no seams. And none of that patch seam wierdness. Not sure if this helps you, but it's my best advice.
