ik Spring Solver in Maya 7

I am having some issues with the ik Spring Solver in Maya 7. I've loaded it into the program, but the box displaying the bias of each joint is solid black with one little unselectable marker in it. Please tell me I'm a dork and I missed some part of the instructions. I followed the free lesson to the letter....

Thanks for the quick reply! Of course, I can't replicate the problem I was having now that I want to show someone. It appears to be working fine... I'll keep my fingers crossed. I think I may have typed ikSpringSolver; last time. I left off the ; and it's working. Now I only have to figure out how to use the thing!
Oh, and this site is amazing. Ya'll have helped me tremendously with my project.

i have problem in ik solver in maya 2008..anybosy can help me .. i want proper tutorials for all 8 ik's in maya...it's important.
